Independent third party audits of our facility consistently rank in the excellent to superior categories. Specific procedures are put in place to obtain and keep obtaining these outstanding marks:
- All areas and equipment in our facilites are under constant monitoring and review to ensure the highest safety and quality.
- All employees are trained in proper and safe food handling principles as they relate to our Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Ongoing employee educational training programs are in place.
- All equipment areas of our facility are under a comprehensive preventative maintenance and sanitation program designed to assure the highest quality and safety of the products we ship.
- Validation of the effectiveness of programs in place is confirmed by a microbiological testing program that includes swabbing of equipment and surfaces as well as product testing.

Additionally, we utilize an ozone-washing system that provides many benefits over other washes, including improved taste and appearance of produce, greater shelf life, and the elimination of chlorinated byproducts, pesticides and other chemical residues.
The purification power of ozone deactivates bacteria and fungus without harmful or carcinogenic side effects. It is an innovative method for deactivating contaminants including E. coli, salmonella and listeria, in an
